EIMA - the world's largest fair on Agri Machinery & Equipment organized by UNACOMA is held in Bologna biennially. EIMA is a strong brand in the sector and regular exhibitors at the show will be the primary target of companies who will be approached for participation at EIMA AGRIMACH INDIA 2009. FICCI, the apex business organization in India will provide the required credibility to the show which will help in attracting large number of Indian companies to exhibit and visit the show. UNACOMA

UNACOMA, the Italian Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, has been helping to make farming more efficient and productive ever since 1945 and represents all Italian manufacturers of tractors, farm and garden machinery and earth-moving machinery and components at home and abroad.

Unacoma might be one dedicated body, but it has more than one soul. To respond to the specific needs of each of the sectors Unacoma incorporates three other associations: COMAMOTER, the association of earth-moving machinery manufacturers,COMAGARDEN, dedicated to serving manufacturers of garden machinery and COMACOMP related to components manufacturers of all three sectors represented by Unacoma.

On a national level Unacoma is a member of Confindustria, the confederation of Italian industry, while on a European level Unacoma is a member of CEMA, Comunitée Européenne des Constructeurs du Machinisme Agricole, CECE, the Committee for European Construction Equipment and EGMF, the European Garden Machinery Industry Federation.

Unacoma's membership accounts for 80% of the Italian production and over 60% of Europe's production.

Unacoma represents the Italian industry of the above mentioned sectors, and carries out a service of assistance and information to member companies, applying to all fields - mainly technical, promotional, economic, statistical, etc.

Moreover, beside the institutional activities, Unacoma works hard to promote its members' products and organizes a number of major international events (through Unacoma Service), including: EIMA International, one of the world's largest trade exhibitions for agricultural machinery and equipment and their components (www.eima.it); ExpoGreen, the international exhibition of machinery and equipment for gardening, sport and outdoor activities (www.expogreen.it) and EIMA Show, a moving exhibition held in towns and cities around Italy designed to show the latest farming technology to farmers and agricultural contractors (www.eimashow.it).

The Italian production of tractors and agricultural machinery, components and spare parts was of 7.2 billion Euro in 2006 and of 3.8 billion Euro of earth moving machinery.
